Switches - "lay down the law"

Back in the 90's there was a great power-pop/glam rock influenced band called Marvelous 3. Many people know their lead singer, Butch Walker, who has gone on to have a popular solo career. I really enjoyed Marvelous 3, they put out some really fun albums with memorable hooks and harmonies, power-pop anthems if you will.

With "lay down the law", it looks like London based band Switches are ready to fill the hole that was left when Marvelous 3 broke up. The 11 tracks on Switches debut album have incredible hooks, memorable choruses (that constantly get stuck in my head), and is just a downright fun album. Listening to it is an enjoyable experience, and with the amount of albums I listen to every week, it's nice to know I can always come back to this after hearing something I didn't care for and find that this album is still as much fun as the first time I heard it.

If you like power-pop rock at all, you need to get this album. It is a power-pop masterpiece.
