Noah Gittell - "watch him fall"

Listening to Noah Gittell's debut album, "watch him fall", I was reminded of another great singer/songwriter, Griffin House. Maybe it was because both artists have written catchy folk-pop songs about history and being born (Griffin has "the way I was made", and Noah has, "if I'd been born a different year"). Maybe it was because for both artists those same songs were the most upbeat on their respective albums. Who knows what goes on in my subconscious that makes me correlate two seemingly different singer/songwriters. All I really know is I enjoyed listening to Noah Gittell's CD. It contains some really nice mellow folk-pop songs that are relaxing to listening to after a hard day, but not so relaxing that it will put you to sleep.
