On The Heshers new 9 song CD, "EP2008", they showcase their blend of punk, garage, power-pop, classic rock & metal, in to what I think of as anthems for outcasts. Songs with lyrics like, "this is who I am, this is who I'll be, I am an individual, I'll always be free from you" ("individual"), and catchy riffs that should make even the most jaded person who swears that rock is dead take notice.
What's most refreshing about The Heshers, is that they're not trying to be something they're not. So many bands feel like they have to reinvent rock, but there is nothing wrong with wanting to be a raw, high energy rock & roll band. That's what The Heshers are.
