Several people have told me they’re bummed that I’m not regularly doing Pissed Off! anymore. So here’s a quick one about the Grammy’s last month that’s been percolating inside of me.

The Grammys managed to Insult Stevie Wonder not once, but twice. First they force him to perform one of his hits with the Jonas Brothers…I just kept wondering if Stevie was thinking, “who the hell are these crackers butchering my song”…then they finally let him sing a song on his own at the end of the show, and they cut him off for a commercial break. Are you fucking kidding me??? The Grammys are about the music, I know you need to have commercial breaks, but cutting off anyone performing, let alone a legend, is pathetic.

Equally pathetic was that Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, and Neil Diamond (and possibly other who I’ve forgotten about), were forced to perform songs of theirs that were 30-40 years old. They all had newer albums out, why not let them perform their new music? You didn’t make Robert Plant sing a Zep tune with Alison Krauss…think about it.

That's all for this week.

Thanks for reading.

Peace,
Lazlo
