Lazlo’s Corner
There is not much one can say in the aftermath of the bombing yesterday. It is a horrible tragedy, and it should never have happened. But I count myself lucky to live in a country where bombing incidents are the exception and not the norm. There are parts of the world where people live in fear of being killed by a crazed bomber, never knowing if they when they go outside their home it if it will be the last time they see their family.
We are also lucky that tragedy brings out the best in us. People immediately ran towards the bomb area yesterday to help those injured. When tragedy hits we all put aside our differences with each other, and not just act civil towards each other, but really shine in our ability to give, help, and care.
Wouldn’t it be nice if we did this every day without the need of a tragedy to bring us together...
