Hoboken Fall music fair

MAYOR DAVID ROBERTS AND THE CITY OF HOBOKEN proudly welcome THE BONGOS to our 14th annual Hoboken Fall Arts and Music Festival

Sunday, September 30, 2007 • 11am to 6pm ADMISSION IS FREE
Washington Street - Observer Highway to 7th Street
Featuring three stages of live music (see schedule below) and over 300 artists, sculptors, photographers and craftspeople

Attendance last year was over 50,000

This year our musical lineup features members of many rock bands that helped create what was known in the early 1980s as the “Hoboken Sound,” including The Bongos who have recently reissued their critically acclaimed debut Drums Along the Hudson with new tracks produced by Moby. Other featured bands include Glenn Mercer of The Feelies, Chris Stamey of the dB’s, The Health & Happiness Show with James Mastro, Bill McGarvey and many others.

The event is presented in coordination with the Hoboken Historical Museum’s retrospective of the city’s storied musical past. (Hoboken Tunes: Our Musical Heritage, July 29 – December 23) www.hobokenmuseum.org
