Jersey Shore Artists Join Together In Support of Breast Cancer Survivor

South Amboy, NJ (Phantom Power Productions) February 14, 2008 – A compilation of Jersey Shore based musicians have come together in support of Breast Cancer Survivor Colleen Guikoff. The event has been organized by Guikoff’s mother, Mary Rita McCarthy, and the family along with co-organizer and Concerts East co-president Tony Pallagrosi. The benefit will raise funds for Guikoff’s ongoing health expenses that are not covered by insurance, and will be held Sunday, February 24 at Centro, 2080 Route 35 North, South Amboy, NJ from 2 PM to 7 PM.

Guikoff, an active supporter of local musicians, along with Pallagrosi, and friend and musician Joe Bellia have compiled a strong roster of artists. The event features Joe Bellia, Bob Burger, Lisa Bouchelle, Matt O’Ree, Jimmy Leahey, Joey Stann, Muddy Shews, Danny Nova, Hal Selzer, Arielle Adamy, The Reptiles and stand-up comedian Jim Florentine (regular guest on the Howard Stern show)

"Colleen has been a great friend and supporter of the music scene for many years,” says featured performer Bob Burger. “I am happy to have a chance to support her now when she needs it."

Those interested in attending the benefit for Colleen Guikoff can pick up tickets at the Centro box office. There will be a complimentary buffet, raffle prizes and a cash bar. The suggested donation for advance tickets is $20. Tickets may also be purchased the night of the event for a suggested donation of $25.
