NJ LABEL RELEASES CD TO BENEFIT PA BREAST CANCER The NJ indie-rock label, FDR, has announced a 10/23/07 release date for the 21 song compilation CD titled "About a Girl". FDR's "About a Girl" CD features a who’s who collection of Philadelphia area indie-rock, power-pop, and garage rock bands covering the greatest all-time rock and roll songs featuring a girl's name in the title and chorus. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the PA Breast Cancer Coalition. The CD can be purchased directly through the FDR Label web site. Individual songs and the album as a whole can also be purchased via iTunes. FDR is celebrating the release with an evening of music on Friday 11/9/07 at the Northstar Bar in Philadelphia, PA. Many of the bands who appear on the CD will play live – in fact every song played will be a song with a girl’s name in it. The line-up includes Grammar Debate, The Rigbees, Taggart, The Successful Failures, the Dipsomaniacs, Late Night Television, and many more to be announced soon.
