The Festival For Humanity Has Been Cancelled
May 12th, 2011 To Those Involved With The Festival For Humanity, It is with sadness that we inform you that financing for the Festival for Humanity has collapsed and the Memorial Weekend Events have been canceled. The founder of the festival, Anders Thueson has been doing everything in his power to secure financing and as of this late hour, the Festival For Humanity will not take place. "The concept of Festival for Humanity was a Celebration of Art and Music to Benefit Charities of Suicide Prevention, Health and Nutrition. I strongly believe we will find a way another way to help those in outreach, education, awareness and funding, this I pledge," says Thueson. All paid ticket holders will be notified and refunded.
