2nd Annual Jersey Acoustic Music Awards
Universal/Motown signed artist CARA SALIMANDO Special guest performer at the 2nd Annual Jersey Acoustic Music Awards Saturday, March 12th, 2011 5:00pm Atonement Lutheran Church 308 First Avenue(Corner of Heck Street) Local Red Bank Regional High School standout & singer/songwriter turned Universal/Motown Artist will make a special guest performance at the 2nd Annual Jersey Acoustic Music Awards(JAMA) in Asbury Park, NJ on March 12th, 2011. Cara Salimando started off playing at small coffee houses in Monmouth County during her junior and senior year, then moving onto mid size venues in New York City and Asbury Park before signing with Universal/Motown Records. Since then, she has filmed music videos in Paris, France and toured throughout the U.S. With her new CD out, "Dust", she comes back to New Jersey for a special performance at an award show that recognizes some of many great unsigned singer/songwriters throughout New Jersey. The Jersey Acoustic Music Awards will feature 18 performances and give out 13 awards. Performing at the JAM Awards are: George Wirth, Beannacht, Matt Kay, Cat Cosentino, Keith Monacchio, Anjelia Pelay, Sheli Aarden,Dan DeFonza, Jenny Woods, Jim Crawford, we are., Mike Butler, Michael Dante Summonte, Don Lee, Bobby Strange, Kacie Baker & Whitney Kelly This event is produced and organized by Espresso Joe's of Keyport with the cooperation of acoustic coffee house venues through out Monmouth and Ocean County: Twisted Tree(Asbury Park), Barbaric Bean(Ocean Grove), Green Planet Coffee House(Pt. Pleasant), Village Coffee(Neptune), Rosie's Cafe Concerts(Asbury Park) and The Saint(Asbury Park) |
